day by huvesaker

Today was a walk around the playground type of day...and our playground is rather huge so no problems getting a walk done today. Have been doing my safety officer job today so everything checked and sorted for another year. VERY warm today, so much so I thought the children would melt!

On the way home I stopped off at the garden centre to buy a lavender for a grandmother who has been helping her grandson in school for the past four weeks. Remember I told you about the boy who broke both his arms...well, I thought it would be nice to give her a present from us all. Drew a picture of a flax flower so it will remind her of our school project...I shall make the sketch into a card for her.

This evening I just HAD to take a photo of the moon. Do you know, when I was little my sister and I used to throw out invisible lines to catch the moon and we would take it everywhere...happy days and all that. I have always been fascinated by the moon. When I was 7 I went to the International School of Helsinki in Finland and we had a space project...I can see my toilet roll rocket to this day...hahaha seems like toilet rolls have ALWAYS been popular!

Thought of the day:
If you can do something nice for another human, then do it.
Always love your tales of the day's doings Boo, and the moon shot is super.
