The Singkaban Festival showcases the traditional arts of Bulacan’s local culture , heritage and artistry, and the various town entries feature all things being Bulakenyo.
The singkaban (bamboo artworks) is a reflection of Bulakenyo’s creativity in transforming bamboo into artwork. Just like the significance of Singkaban Festival in the province of Bulacan, her costume is a perfect manifestation of all the local festivals of the province that takes part in the celebration of the Singkaban.
The costume is dominated by The Singkaban artwork masterfully rendered in swarovski crystals that that represent the Alanasan (Jewelry) of Meycauyan City which truly signifies the colorful celebration of the festival & characterized by the well-known embroided laces of Pisenyong Pandi and highlighted by flower laces that symbolizes the celebration of the 1st Flores de Maria of Bulakan, Bulacan.
