edible, and used to colour food, and rice.

@mattjcuk @777margo thanks for you comments, there is a Nyonya
blue rice Nasi Lemak, Can be used to colour tea, even local Jelly is coloured with this pea flower. There is also a Nasi Kerabu found in the states of Perlis, Kedah and Kelantan, coloured with Blue Pea flower.
