Round the Tree

There was a presentation at the camera club a couple of weeks ago by someone who had created some images in the style of Pep Ventosa.

I was fascinated by the possibilities of using this technique so thought I'd try it out while I was in the park. I picked a tree, went all the way around taking photos from all angles. Then I blended 12 images together in photoshop to create one image.

Interesting to see how the tree and the shadows look on the final image compared with how the light and shade looked on the tree as I took the photos.
Beautiful... love the processing.

@pistache thanks :) I think this is my own interpretation of the technique, I read that the images should be stacked but I was halfway through blending layers when I realised, so may try it again.
