Went to Pooley Bridge today to see what happened to the village during the December flooding. This is someone's garden still under water. Very sad to see so much devastation, particularly the 18th century bridge that was swept away which has divided the village into two. Took quite a few photos in Glenridding and Pooley Bridge to record the moment and will return over the next few months to see how the communities are rebuilt.
