I went to Liverpool's Albert Dock today, the water was unusually calm and I thought the reflections looked good.
If you notice there are grey columns just left of the corner, there was a TV studio inside that part of the building when the dock was redeveloped and they didn't want red columns outside their window distracting the viewers. People used to walk around the dockside and peer in the window to give their friends and family a wave. They had to hire security people in the end to keep the crowds moving along.
We had a lovely lunch out with my friend and her dad who was 85 today, he's such a treasure and I'm so glad we were there to help him celebrate.
