This is all that's left of the old landing stage in Liverpool where the transatlantic ships used to dock. You can just see the ticket collector's office and an old gangplank abandoned at the end. I thought it was a good subject for my first b& w, with a bit of trial and error on the processing.
We were waiting for my parents to arrive on the ferry from the Isle of Man, fortunately they didn't have to dock here!
