I read an article in a magazine at the weekend about the settings to use for photographing the moon so thought I'd try it out when I got my camera back from being cleaned.
I followed the instructions to the letter and then tried lots of other variations just to see what happened. Results were not a surprise, their suggestion was spot on and the rest were rubbish!
I don't know much about the moon so I looked it up and found out this is the waxing gibbous phase. It'll be full by Thursday but looks like it might be cloudy later in the week so might not see it.
Looked almost black and white on the original photo so decided to process in Silver Efex.
