Catching the light

I took quite a few (a few?) photographs of the lighthouse but managed to miss the light in most of them, here's one with the light on so I thought it deserved to be the photo of the day.

This is South Stack lighthouse in Anglesey, North Wales. We're staying here for a couple of days to do some coastal walks. It was such a beautiful day with a wonderful sunset and felt like we were far away from the real world.
Gorgeous colors and great composition and perspective

Fabulous shot and well done for capturing the light. This shot has brought back more memories again for me. We lived at RAF Valley for 4 years in the 1970s and I walked down to South Stack when I was 7 months pregnant with my elder daughter.

I remember we used to hear the fog warning from South Stack from our house. fav

@onewing what a great place to live, Babs. You must have been very fit to walk to the lighthouse when you were 7 months pregnant, there are so many steps!
