Heading up hill at Arnside Knott we stopped to look at the view and the snow showers heading our way.
When we turned around there were half a dozen highland cows coming up the path. Despite their scary look they are gentle creatures, this one came over for a look at us then carried on with the others on their walk!
The view disappeared for a while when the snow reached us but it was soon gone and the skies cleared again. Freezing cold but otherwise a lovely day.
