HDR in the park

I took a chance on the weather and went to the park this afternoon with the camera but not the raincoat.

I'd planned to go to the city centre to do some HDR shots afterwards but got caught in a heavy shower so had to go home to dry out instead! Before I left the park I found the settings on the camera to do the bracketed shots of these gathering rain clouds.

I looked online for tips on HDR processing but decided to use Lightroom as it seemed quite straightforward. I'm not sure if I've missed something but I merged the shots together, made a few adjustments and here it is.

For the One Week Only challenge, Tuesday's prompt was HDR.

HDR suits cloud formations - they become clearer and more interesting! My camera has an HDR setting if I want to use it, then I use Photomatix Essentials to compose it!
