We went for a walk along a disused railway line in the Yorkshire Dales which has been transformed into a nature reserve, so unspoilt and quiet.
In the woodland alongside the track there were so many bluebells, it looked like a blue carpet, the sunshine was just filtering through to give some dappled light. I hadn't expected bluebells here so it was a delight so see them.
Beautiful. I love the Yorkshire Dales. I thought it would be a bit late now for bluebells, but Yorkshire can be a bit bleak can't it so their Spring could be late.
@onewing I think the wild bluebells must be a bit later up north, it's been a slow start with the cold snap in Spring but at least the blossom and blooms are abundant now, I've never seen so many flowers :)
