I have been suffering with a bit of insomnia during the last week. During one of my long and torturous nights, I decided, "Hey, I know! I'll teach myself to cable knit!" This was either completely brilliant, or not, depending on how you look at it. Brilliant - because it *is* Ryanne's birthday this coming Friday and I should probably make her a scarf since it just doesn't seem right to make them for 2 and leave the other 8 hangin'. Not - because I am stubborn and won't quit until I've got it figured out, prolonging my sleepless night. My eyes may have been bloodshot and my hands shakey but, by George, I think I've got it!!
