Tomorrow will mark 11 years since my "Precious Joy" was laughed right into this world. There was no pushing, just laughing. Everyone laughed. My husband laughed, the nurse laughed, the doctor laughed, and most importantly, because it's what got the job done, I laughed. She was my 4th baby and my first experience with a medicated birth (aka- the epidural). When they checked me and told me she was "right there", I unbelievingly laughed because I couldn't feel a thing. I was told to stop laughing because the doctor hadn't yet arrived and when I laughed it just pushed her out further. Of course, me being the rebel that I am, found that incredibly funny and only laughed more. When the doctor did arrive, he entered into a room full of laughter. Once he discovered what was so funny, he put on his gloves, while laughing, just in time to catch Ryanne Laura as she slid into our crazy, happy lives.

*Note - her right eye is half brown, it's not a glare or anything. ;-)
