The last week has been spent working on our garden and potting some new flowers for the porch. My green thumb has always been more of a yellowish-brown shade. Or, at least that's what most plants look like shortly after I get my hands on them. But, I am a patient soul and don't give up easily (which has proven to be an unfortunate fact for most forms of vegetation having crossed my path). Last year I got the brilliant idea to take pictures of my newly planted flowers. I am glad I did because, weeks later, I could still bask in the glory of all of their natural beauty .....when I opened the "Garden 2010" file on my computer.
*sigh*
And, so, I try again. This is a giant marigold and some salvia (I got fancy and saved all of their tags in a ziploc bag so I can practice memorizing their names)
This was taken on day 2 of their lives here with me. They are now on day 6 and, I must say, they look almost identical to the photo.
