I had a busy day today. I went to visit my friend, Dave, who lives about two hours away. We traveled as a family and, upon arrival, I split from the group to join Dave on his guided tour of his town and to see all of the hard work that has been put into the house he bought. (Two thumbs up...very impressive). The family spent the day going out for pizza, to the movies, and then to a hotel for swimming fun. ....Yes, we travel two hours to stay in a hotel. It's how we roll. Anyhow, I had lots of chances for some great photos (and I got some good ones of my new friend, Buddy) but it was this one that screamed "PHOTO OF THE DAY!!!" to me. I think it may have had something to do with my body being exhausted but my brain bouncing off the freaking walls due to the 22 and a half cups of coffee I drank at Village Inn before making my way to the hotel. I got into the room, walked into the bathroom, and discovered the orange heat lamp on. I haven't stood under one in a very long time and it reminded me of trips I took as a child where I stayed in hotel rooms with my family. ....Is it possible to be drunk off of caffeine? Because, looking back, I was just a bit too enamored with the pretty orange light to have been sober.... what was in that coffee anyway?
