This normally sits in my kitchen window and, because of the constant hum of my air conditioner, there is never much of a change in it's appearance. I was gazing at it as I waited for my coffee this morning and noticed how the light was catching each of the little globes. I decided to take it outside where I laid in the grass and had a better look at it. With all of the outside reflections, it almost seems as if each of those little globes were a tiny world of it's own. I didn't leave it long enough to let it reach an accurate temperature reading. Like most times in "my" world, I had to move quickly in order to not miss out on the happenings around me (aka- the kids were inside and I could hear them ...through the closed door)
