I have been seeing feathery lightning bolts of yellow flying through my backyard that only stop for seconds at a time to perch on a treetop before shooting off again. This afternoon I stepped out onto my front porch to watch the rain when I heard a beautiful serenade being emitted from my tree. I sent for my camera (secret is out... the real reason I had ten kids - 10 assistants) and braved the rain to get a shot. I was surprised he stayed put for so long. Whatever he had to say... it was important.
Beautiful bird, maybe he was calling you to take a shot of him. Good for you to have 10 assistants, with my two I have the feeling they sometimes aren't a real help ( only kidding they are good girls)
