I saw him, I ran. I returned, he was gone. I kept my camera glued to my side, "just in case", and this was the result. It was still pretty dark out and all I could make out was his silhouette both times I saw him so I bumped my iso up. I shot this from the front side of my house (I was stopped at the side fence) and he was perched on the house behind mine. Not my ideal owl shot but better than I have gotten in the past and at least as much as I was hoping for so I am happy.
