As you may have heard, Colorado suffered a snow storm this weekend. We checked on the nest then and Mama was there but we weren't sure how they'd pull through. It has been 3 days now and no sign of the eaglet at all. :( The parents have been in the nest less and, today, we saw it completely unguarded. Tonight, we saw Mama cleaning it out. While it doesn't look promising, we are hopeful and will keep checking just in case we have just had bad timing and baby has just been hunkered down, out of sight...
