Our anniversary was a couple of weeks ago but we had long standing plans to celebrate at the annual Highlands Festival this weekend, so that is where we are. He is part Scottish and I have a little Scot thrown in my Irish blood. It is a perfect weekend... the fog and mist rolling through the mountains... and we are surrounded by bagpipe music, kilts, Celtic bands, food, and whiskey (to name a few). This photo was us last night as we sat at our favorite Irish pub. We are celebrating 23 years of marriage, 10 children, remembering the good times and letting go of the bad. And we are celebrating our future.
