Not very clear - this was through my home office window - this bird doesn't stay still much and was gone in seconds. First time he has ever been on the suet.
If a twitcher I would prefer take one someone who takes and looks at images I prefer this, The composition on a third the diffused background makes the colours of the bird vibrant and you wonder how it is going to get to the seed on offer: neat capture
Actually, really nice! There is a little motion stuff around the bird but not at all significant. The handling of the "fuzz to the background" is done nicely, so the slight motion problems with the front are really rendered insignificant.
@paul2782@frankhymus@joannbayne - Thank you! The side of the house is completely natural - and I have quite a few feeders so I can watch the birds while I am working. It's rare we get a woodpecker or flicker so always excited to see one - but have to be quick with the camera.
@sansjuan@lspitzer - Thank you ladies! I haven't seen a flicker right outside my window for several years - I am so pleased they are back! We don't have that many colorful birds here in winter, so that splash of red is always welcome!
