Trillium.

Another beautiful trillium in the woods by my house. Soon they will turn pink.

Wanted to note, too, I have been out of town for a couple of days and a bit behind - will catch up over the next few days - looking forward to seeing all your pictures.

Trillium are so beautiful -- they are protected species in Michigan where we spend summers. We have three near our house and it's one of my joys to get up there in time to see them. But they don't bloom there for another 6 - 8 weeks!
