Not sure if you can see enlarged, but if you look at the fir tree in the middle. Top right branch, there are two eagles. I will put a pic in my Flora and Fauna album. I used both my cameras to try and capture but there were a lot of people on the boardwalk causing my tripod to bounce. I waited hoping for some quiet time but the eagles flew off. Here are the eagles up close but not terribly clear: http://365project.org/jankoos/flora-and-fauna/2013-12-29 or this one where their heads together form a heart: http://365project.org/jankoos/flora-and-fauna/2013-12-30
I saturated the color here and used 'lomo' processing in picasa. Perhaps my 2014 goal will be to get and learn PS lightroom or elements. Thanks for looking.
On a personal note, today was my hubby's birthday. We have eaten out so much over the holidays he wanted a quiet meal at home. I cooked some king salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and carrots and baked a banana cake. All yummy.
Happy birthday to your husband! We had a birthday dinner for my nephew, just boboli pizzas, salad and a chocolate raspberry ganache cake.
Best viewed large! I love the processing! That's my goal for 2014, to learn Lightroom. Well, one of my goals!
That is so high up on a tree! I wonder how anyone could take a close up! Nice quiet birthday dinner sounds wonderful - like us - done so much lately - nice quiet New Year!
A belated happy birthday to your hubby, his birthday meal sounds delicious. Thanks for all your kind comments on my project Jan you have been very supportive and I appreciate it very much. Wishing you a healthy and happy 2014.
@aprilmilani - thanks April - did you see my shot of the barns from the day before? I get down there once a month or so, usually on a Sunday. :-)
Love that place!
Gorgeous shot, Jan. Happy Birthday to your husband and you are sweet to have made such a great meal for him. I am with you on learning some new techniques this coming year. I don't know about you but for me finding time is always a challenge. Happy, Happy New year.
