We have been having unseasonably warm weather for our area and last Sunday's drive up to Paradise at Mt Rainier found lots of people at this 5,000 ft elevation playing in the snow in shorts. While we are loving not freezing our hinders off, the warm weather isn't good for the tourist trade in the mountains. Not enough snow for skiing. This is a glimpse of the Tatoosh range - one of my favorite ranges to photograph. I find it so peaceful here.
I have been dealing with some ongoing health issues so posting and commenting has been sporadic. Bah!
Our fog has lifted but it is still gray here in the valley. We can't see the mountain through the gray, but I am occasionally reminded to take a look at the webcams to see that it is clear at Paradise. We almost got an excuse to go yesterday through today. (It is an overnight project in winter from here). Alas, I have to vicariously drool over the view with you and the webcams.
@katney - Thanks Kathy - I thought of you when I was up there last weekend - I knew it was foggy in Yakima because a friend of my son's was there and had called to chat.
I'm sorry to hear of your health issues and hope it's nothing serious.
