@jayberg She meant you have a hand to hold each spoon, pour the syrup AND hold the camera for the shot!!! I was wondering what your set up looked like myself. Fabulous execution to this interesting shot, Jay.
@grammyn ah..I see...you are so smart...so here how it works:
a) tape one spoon to a yardstick and stick it into a tall crate
b) tape the bottom spoon to a tall wine bottle and put it directly under the spoon in part 'a'
c) install camera on tripod
d) prefocus the lens in manual
e) use a remote shutter release on the camera with the left hand
f) pour the syrup with the right hand
and voila... a sticky shot..all very simple

One day you have to post a picture what your surrounding looks like when you do your water, sirup or other liquids shots.
I tried some water shots once and almost everything was flooded ... kudos for working with sirup ;-)
