Descanso Gardens has their annual "Enchanted: Forest of Light" display this week -- the botanical gardens lit up with colored lights, lanterns. lasers, etc. This was a walkway of disks that changed color when you stepped on them. Very cool.

I have never been to Descanso Gardens although I was born and raised in Whittier. My mother used to talk about it and enjoyed it This is fascinating. Would like to get there one of these days -- although we now live just north of San Diego.
How cool! I suppose that the 1st is the last day for the display? Ah well, something to think about next year. One of these days I'm going to go to Descanso - can't believe that I lived not far from there for 5 years and never visited it.
@jaybutterfield Thanks - it will probably have to be Saturday, my contractor is supposed to start work on my house and I have various people coming during the week.
