Gateway Arch

On the way back to the airport, we just has enough time for a driveby of the Gateway Arch -- St. Louis's iconic image that towers 653 feet over the Mississippi River on the Missouri - Illinois border. Symbolizing the city's tradition as the gateway to the west, the arch is overwhelmingly impressive dwarfing everything around it.

@grammyn on the north side of the park. Just a quick shot before heading to the airport. Wish we had had time to get out and walk around.

I was by there in the spring and there was a lot of construction going on. This looks like an unobstructed view. Did you notice if the construction was finished?

@grammyn we really just did a drive by so didn't get a chance to go through the park. Looked pretty good to me.
