Yesterday we celebrated our father's 98th birthday. My mother ( who is many years younger ) cooked this fabulous dish for the event. Today I will handle this two, after taking this picture for the "homemade" weekly theme ;)

Gorgeous capture and very inviting dish. My daughter-in-law just loves them like this. For me I prefer octopus in garlic sauce. I find the taste of the squid a bit sour. Happy birthday to your dad and many years more to enjoy. Mine died at 96 two years ago.
