The Copa Nadal is a swimming competition held every year in Barcelona on Christmas Day since 1907 ( with the exception of years 1937 and 1938 due to Spanish Civil War) organized by Club Natació Barcelona. Last year, I was lucky to get a "lucky shot". In this photo we see a group of friendly swimmers, accompanied by a child Jesus, both participating in a festive way. In this competition participate people of all ages from age 13, both men and women, professionals or not.
I've been interested in photography since time ago. I like street photography, airplane photography, candid and many other.

@irisn yes they are, perhaps the cold and perhaps they are disqualified from the competition for their indumentary, they give a valuable festive mood to the competition :)
What a lovely tradition. They seem to be enjoying all the fun. We have a winter swim for charity on 1st January and hundreds participate. The water is not very cold even in winter. Probably it is the same there.
