That is an amazingly sharp capture. Do you have a very powerful zoom lense? Your timing is great too. By the time I focus on a plane, it's usually gone.
@skstein Thank you very much... No, I don't have a powerful zoom lens. The spot point is close to the runway and you can get good results with normal camera zoom. The only trick as you said is to practice to track moving aircraft while taking shots. ;)

We are known as airplane spotters @sangwann thank you very much. I like my "old nikon" because It was the first serious slr I bought. I have some purpose oriented lenses and I like to use it. On the other side the mirroless is compact and discrete to taking pictures everyday I can pass uncaught many of the time with him. Also he has son focussing issues with moving objects that nikon doesn't have
