Lamment

80 years before, during March 16th, 17th and 18th, Barcelona suffered continuous bombing raids over civilian population by italian fascists aviation, with one thousend casualties and one thousend five hundred wounded. The same year, on January 30th, a bombing raid by fascist planes ended the lives of 42 people, many of them children who had sought refuge in the air-raid shelter below the church. The fascist italian aviation based on Palma de Mallorca only had short period of flight time until the city of Barcelona letting civilians a short period of time to take cover on air-raid shelters.

Unfortunately, on the present day, we still have innocent civilians suffering the punishment from their governments and this is the saddest part of this history.
Plaça de Sant Felip Neri? One of the most moving places in Barcelona. You're right, how sad that this is not history.

@boxplayer Yes. This is :)

@joansmor @boxplayer I think mankind is able to do the most incredible and beautiful things but on the other side, we’re able to bring our world and ourselves to the extinction or the worst horrors

The light and the dark - like in a photo too much of one can ruin the picture.

Thank you for posting this shot along with the history to the building and how we are still hurting and killing each other. Certainly made me stop and think.
