La Ampurdanesa

Established on 1845 until 2009 this shop sell shoes to many people. Now, It has turned into a grocery. The storefront should be keep as is because this is an historic shop and it's protected by the cityhall as many others.

We had a shoe store that was turned into a restaurant but I could not quite bring myself to eat there. I was afraid there would be an old smell of feet. Silly I know but that is what I thought

@borof So many old ones are being left in favour of the new ones. Someday, we'll forget how a shoe was made or a how a fresh bagguete was baked...
