Pinky is very protective of Nadine when she sees other dogs.
I forgot to change lenses before I biked to Nadine's for our walk, so I was stuck with a fixed length macro lens. It worked, but I had to change position instead of zooming the lens in or out--mostly out was what I wanted. It is a great lens, though, and I was glad to have it for a few closeups.
One of the best, Joan. Nadine's braced posture with the dog's resistance is great composition.... How well you captured the action of the scene, how well the action carries diagonally, like the hill, corner to corner, how well the action captures the relationship of the two people! Both Nadine's and Pinky's expressions are caught perfectly. This is an awesome photo.
