I walked around Clarendon this evening and took a few shots, mostly of children. I interacted with the subjects much more than usual. Two little girls were thrilled to see themselves on my camera screen. I told the adults the truth, that I am learning to take photos. I took a couple photos of this boy before he hid behind his father. I liked this shot the best, when he peeked out at me.
I got some other good photos including a couple good panning shots (a bicycle and a motorcycle), but decided to use this partly because it seemed appropriate for Ester. It looked like this family was going home from a special dinner 9probably celebrating Easter) since there was a large group of people dressed impeccably including several adorable children. Adults may dress up for dinner any time, but it's usually a special occasion when kids get dressed up like this.
