Michael came over to change the axle on his fiance's car, Suzalaa (a 1997 Honda Civic). Leslie helped him change the passenger-side axle last fall, so they knew what they were doing this time. But it was still a big job. Michael has had the parts for awhile and has been waiting for the right time.
It started drizzling almost as soon as Michael arrived, while Leslie was still refereeing soccer. They put up a tarp over our driveway to keep them dry during the job.
I missed all the prep and finish work, but photographed the actual axle installation. It only took about three minutes, but seemed longer. (I can tell by the time stamps on my photos.)
