I had lunch with my brother on his birthday. My parents arranged and paid for it. I just went along for the ride. I drove to my parents' house and rode with them to Frederick where we met John at Uno's near his work. It was very nice to spend time with him and my parents. I rarely see John, but when I do he's almost always with his 13 children and we don't have much time to talk.
After lunch, my parents and I explored the park where we will have a family picnic in a few weeks. Then we took Dad's rowboat to the reservoir. By the time we got back to my parents' house and put the boat trailer away, it was getting dark.
We had a full day. It was great to spend time with my parents and with John.
