The warm evening light drew me to the back yard, but I didn't get the focus right on my first shot--of a plant growing out of a brick pillar behind my garage. I will have to try again soon.
While I was out back, I noticed the mimosa thorns and leaves. I had trouble deciding between this shot and one with a combination of leaves and thorns.
