This evening a large number of birds swarmed and swooped and chirped in the tree and on the fence of the back yard. I retrieved my 300mm and 1.4 teleconverter, then set up to shoot. Of course the birds had almost all left in that short time, but this one sat for a few moments and I made a portrait in the nice warm, directional late evening sun.
