215 yearbooks arrived this afternoon. I look forward to and dread this time. Giving the students their books, taking a deep breath that it is done. And then the complaints start. Things I and the student staff missed. Typos, not enough room for everything, complaints from parents that the studio supplied the wrong photo, that a student who was not at school on picture day was not included in the portrait section.
Worst of all is when the mistake is one I made. And from now until the end of time that mistake will be there, like a tiny splinter poking at the back of my brain.
