Year 2 - I am so happy that I have finished my first year! I have absolutely loved doing this project and have learned so much and enjoyed other members' photos. I am so grateful for and appreciative of your views, comments and favs! Thank you very much. This is an amazing community. I will continue on but plan to allow myself to leave posting gaps when I need to. Although I love doing this project, it is time consuming and there are other things I want to have time to do, some related to photography and others not. I'm excited to see what the new year brings.

Massachusetts USA. I love photography but I don’t pick up my camera and shoot often enough which I just love to do. I hope this project will encourage me to do that every (or nearly every) day. I am retired so really have no excuse. I want to improve my familiarity with my cameras, my eye for composition and light, my ability to get more accurate manual settings and my editing skills. But mainly to just enjoy doing something I love. With only a few days in, I am already loving this challenge, starting to be more aware of what’s around me and learning from others. — Jean
