Trying to shorten the learning curve with photography and hope to pick up a few things from you guys. I think street photography will be my main interest but I was out shooting landscapes this morning, and if the people on the street were more receptive I would snap a few portrait types. I get downtown to take street photos of people but usually use my 70-300 to get head shots and up close images from a safe distance.
I've had a Canon crop for a couple years which stayed in Auto for the first year, and started exploring and experimenting the second. With the recent addition of the 5D MarkIV I hope to take this retirement hobby to higher levels and shoot raw at some point.
