Busy Buzzer

I sneaked into the nearby field earlier and spotted this busy bee on the rape flower. I love how it has the yellow pollen sprinkled all over it.

He has been a busy bee, covered in pollen. Lovely capture. I haven't managed a bumble yet they always seem a lttle camera shy, but I think this one was too engrossed in what it was doing :)

Great shot. Did you use a macro lens? The pollen is great.

@flanners No, I don't have a macro lens (yet!!!! It's now top of my wanted list though!). I was just lucky to be able to get really close, any closer and I'd have probably squashed it with the camera! :)
