Today we've been to an Irish dancing show that my daughter was in. It was really good and it took so much of the day (including taking her to the rehearsals) that it had to be included in my shot of the day. Here are her feet 'diddle dee dee-ing' (NOT a technical term But I'm new to this :-) ) - deliberately blurred to show the movement and remind me of the speed at which they fling their little (or rather, in my daughter's case, very long!) legs about!
Thanks for all your views and comments, they are always so appreciated, and thank you for the favs on yesterday's weird one, which were not expected at all :-)
Ah, I thought it was Highland Dancing for a moment. I have the very same style of leather pumps ... I don't really dance any more, but they still fit and I still carry my kilt outfit with me wherever I live. Every now and then I'm called upon to do a Highland Fling or a Sword Dance! Lovely shot, capturing the action of your daughter's feet.
This is magic and I hope it will continue to bring much pleasure.
I went to school in Northern Ireland where Irish dancing was obligatory. Everyone else had been doing it since tothood. Trial and tribulation were the order of every single session. I wangled my way out before it became a real problem. Equally, lessons to learn and speak Irish.
