Lovely shot. Are you about to make something? Marking is tough ... it goes on and on and if one wants to make it meaningful to the students, it requires a great deal of time and effort! :)
Hello Joan - just spent a very pleasant hour looking through your project. Now following - I don't want to miss any of the fascinating things that your daily life brings you...l it's sure different to rural France.
@vignouse Oh gosh, Richard...you have no idea how much I envy YOUR location! It looks absolutely heavenly. I am pea green - I guess the "grass is always greener" eh?! I do love this experience, though. I've been here 8 years and feel very fortunate to have this opportunity. I'll be up here 3 more years and then retire to rural Montana. No castles or monasteries, but lots of beauty of its own! Thanks for following! You do beautiful work. :-)
@helly31 Yes, Helen. Grading can be exhausting! I try to involve the students as much as possible, though. I'm making little snowflakes that I will sew onto leather backgrounds (like my picture from the day before.)
@aglennc Yup, Anita - procrastinating! I'll be sorry this weekend!! ;-) @sitiodown hmmm...to quilt or bead? Or go take photos??? I am always struggling with this!! Decisions...decisions! @laurielizard Thanks for understanding, Laurie!! Always good to recruit sympathies from fellow teachers!! @cruiser It did, Chris! Thanks! :-) @tristansmum Thank you, Stephanie!
