The view of the tundra around our village as we flew out a couple days ago. The river had broken up and was flowing clear, but all the ponds were still frozen.
@cruiser We usually do stay up there for at least part of the summer. Lots of boating, fishing, hunting, etc. But we both have big families in the Lower '48 who are always begging us to visit during our summer break! Thanks for your comments!
@novab Thanks Nova! I love the low-flying smaller planes. We fly pretty close to the ground and can actually see some of the wildlife!
