Cowboy Talk

Wonderful BBQ at an old Montana ranch. Good food, good friends, good conversation.
Joan, I love this entire series, but this is my favorite so far.

Yet again - looking at your pictures is like opening a door to a world I have not seen before. Very exciting.

As I was looking at the poppy /mountain shot an old John Denver song was playing in my head... ' I think I'd rather be a cowboy '. Then I scrolled down to this great picture!

I've really enjoyed this mini-series of B&W images Joan - so evocative of a life-style that not so many enjoy now.

Who says you need to be in a city to do a street shot! If this was in Chicago it would be some men sitting on a bench, or around a table outside of some sort of establishment discussing what ever is important to them...it might be a different location, they might be dressed differently, but I bet their concerns and conversations were not that different, or at least that is what I like to believe. I think that what is on most peoples mind is their family.

@ukandie1 I agree with you, Andie. Thanks for your encouraging words. I admire your street shots very much and try to apply that genre in my little village, but it's hard to find much variety up there!
