The dryer was out all summer at the place we are remodeling in Montana. Because we aren't ready to buy appliances yet, I just hung everything on the line, sometimes having to plan around thunder and lightening storms! It's been a good summer. Almost time to head north.
This is a very poweful image Joan, the 'reverse' diagonal composition sets up a lot of dynamic tension which holds the viewer's attention... Fav for me.
I miss hanging clothes out on the line ~ where we now live doesn't allow it . Nice shot and idea. Glad it's been a good summer for you ~ hope you'll be ready to go back north.

we are now in Charlotte, North Carolina ~ in a neighborhood with an HOA that is quite strict about what you can and cannot do with or to your property. BUT ~ they do have a nice pool, walking trail, and tennis courts, so we deal with it ;)
