Cache

Another from our river walk this weekend. There are several of these old caches dug into the hillside along the river where the old village was originally located. No longer used, but an interesting relic of a not-so-distant past.
Neat b&w shot, textures

Another interesting facet of local life - what would these have been used for?

@dianaanne Thank you, Diane :-)
@vignouse Thanks, RIchard. They stored their dried meats (fish, caribou, moose, etc.) in these. Glad we have electricity these days!
