This is our standard mode of transportation in the bush. (No paved roads, and not many roads at that!) Our village can only be reached by river boats or small planes. We're going to have to warm this one up for a while! Thankfully, we can easily walk to any place we need to go.
@christophercox I didn't touch it! It presented itself just perfectly! @dide Thanks! @philcameron59 LOL! It's all relative... @vignouse Thank you, Richard! It's still above zero (F) but we did have frozen pipes in town yesterday, so no water all evening. They worked all night and we're back on today. It's coming and we are ready!
I feel better about our weather when I look at your shots Joan! It may be damp and miserable here in West Wales but at least we don't usually have to cope with conditions like this. Keep your camera batteries warm, as well as yourself!
@thistle Thank you for your comments & fav, Joyce! @scotthouston Nope, just cold buns! @cruiser LOL! No, we're not going anywhere on this until Spring! @rafaportas Thank you very much.
@cottiac You are so kind to write! The funny thing up here is, no matter what kind of 4-wheeler a person has, a Yamaha, Suzuki, Polaris, etc., everyone calls them "Hondas"! I also love to read about life in other places, but don't think I have any skill as a writer. It's crossed my mind...maybe in retirement!
@dide Thanks!

I love reading books about people in communities like yours..if you ever publish one do let me know! 😃
Well I guess I was just thinking of a photographic book with detailed explanations...would be so fascinating!
